On September 17, community member CJ, while on a livestream, talked about how he had a power bill to pay but did not want to sell his prized DigiByte coins to pay for it. He had very limited options on how to make that happen.

On that very same day, centralized exchange AnonKYC opened trading for the DigiDollar/USDT pair. CJ, who goes by @Cm0re1 on X, decided to use his DigiByte as collateral to mint DigiDollar, then swap it for USDT on AnonKYC to pay off his power bill.

CJ, a hardcore DigiByte believer, found a way to hold onto his prized coins while still paying a serious real-world bill.
